<div>The Satellite lamp of designer Dirk vander Kooij is a bulky floor lamp that glows with different intensities, that can be adjusted by hand. The energy-saving light sources and the electric gear are embedded in the transparent and thick material, which diffuses the light in all directions. The lamp is made entirely of ground up cd- cases and was printed by the robot, just like his endless chairs. In this case the structure of the transparant lines are perfect to diffuse the light. With this new design he brings the endless collection to a higher dimension. </div>
<div>Dirk vander Kooij will show his lamp the 26th of May in the shop during the Meet and Greet.</div>

Made for MUUTO, the designers Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Ståhlbom from TAF architects on the design; &#8220;The all-wood design is a low-tech antidote to the usually very modern work desk lamps. All the details are pragmatically chosen with every screw visible. The wooden lamp gets lots of personality with the most simple methods. Their aim is to make ordinary life less ordinary through subtle but effective changes in how products and architecture appear and function. TAF’s products have been exhibited at prestigious venues such as MOMA NY and the Swedish National Museum in Stockholm.</p>
